In 2013, I was active during a series of vibrant protests moving through the Russian Federation. These protests petitioned for the release opposition leader Mikhael Khodorkovsky from what was widely recognized as unlawful custody. As a visual communication designer, I wanted to use my skills to contribute what I could to the movement — I created a series of brochures and pamphlets. I distributed these with the intent of disseminating information about the issues at hand to the external public, both within the Russian Federation and the United States.
